Unlike the other sites out there that have you sign up to earn money, Getref takes a different approach. You earn credits that can be used to gain referrals for your paying sites. If you do the work, the site does give you results. I've talked to a couple of people who use it to attract members to their PTC accounts and have gained 20-30 referrals from it (plus anyone those people bring in as referrals). Both of them paid for the Gold membership.

It takes work, but if you think about it, so does working to attract referrals to your site on an individual basis so Getref might actually be worth that work.
